Today's Document app was created by the National Archives. It's a great app for trivia or history buffs. It highlights a variety of items in the National Archives; each day a different piece of the archive is featured.
The user is able to swipe to previous days or search by date in five different ways. A search is conveniently on the bottom of the app, to search by what ever topic is typed in.
By touching the i in the circle at the top right more information is available. Often there are several links in this information to other more detail places to find information about this item at the National Archives.
There is also the ability to share or favorite the item if it is needed later or a friend would like to see it.
This could be a great way to inspire a display or a student's project.
