Here are the blurbs from their front page:
"With lifetime access to your classes, you can watch lessons at your preferred pace and easily revisit your favorite concepts with just a click."
"Ask your expert instructor questions to receive all the answers and feedback you need to succeed."
"Enjoy the classes anytime from the convenience of your home or even on-the-go with our mobile apps."
"Learn easily with helpful diagrams, engaging graphics and downloadable materials that walk you step-by-step through gaining skills."Craftsy frequently has sales when you can scoop up classes at a good price. I have enrolled in quilting classes, baking classes, and drawing classes. There are also classes in painting, knitting & crocheting, and photography in their list of categories.
They have a lot of freebies on the site, too. They have Free Mini-Classes in practically every category. They also have a great blog with tips and ideas. There are free patterns available for a variety of projects. There is a projects area where you can post your project or look for ideas.
The app has the same features as the regular website (note-taking, bookmarking, etc.). Space wise it's sometimes much more convenient to watch on the iPad rather than the laptop or desktop. The knitting and crocheting even have separate apps and a pattern app.
Craftsy is a place were hours can be lost looking or learning something new.
